So the Swedish is making plans to harness all that body heat generated by thousands of commuters scrambling to catch their trains at Stockholm's main railway station and use it for heating a nearby office building.

They say Britney Spears failed a drug test recently. And she is claiming that it was a false positive due to a new inhaler she used...

Why is this news? And why are we so obsessed with Britney self-destruction?

I mean really? She is loaded with money. She can do any legitimate thing in the world. She can really get into a great hobby that is interesting and constructive...

And she does all those things that gets her bad press... drunk driving, public embarrassing incidences, and whatever else she is doing now...

She used to be pretty and America's darling and now look who she is, a really sad, sad woman who is probably crying for help and not getting it.

The point I'm trying to make is be very careful who you idolize. Britney Spears isn't it.

Jerry Seinfeld is Busy as a Bee with New Family

We all have heard of Jerry Seinfeld from the hit TV show. Jerry is now 53 years young and admits that he didn't become a full grown adult until he was in his late 30s.

Jerry talks a little about growing up. He said he wasn't funny but his dad was the comedian in the family. Jerry had to "force" himself to get up on stage and be funny. It was terrifying for him. I can imagine because most people are scared to death of public speaking. I heard people are MORE scared of public speaking than death.

Go figure.

Back to Jerry Seinfeld. He said his success was due to his relentless work ethics. The only demon he had was the lazy demon.

Wow, that is refreshing for someone to say that because our world is obsessed with quick and easy. And along comes Jerry Seinfeld throwing that myth out the window.

Oh yeah, he is really happy now. Syndication revenues from the 9 year run of his sitcom has made Jerry very wealthy. He has been married for 8 years and has 3 children.

I'm happy everything is working out well for Jerry...

What You Must Do Before You Love Others

Recently, I read a very interesting article from Robert Ringer (link below)

Prerequisite to Loving Your Neighbor, Part I

He wrote that you MUST first respect yourself! Robert said that a lot of people that he meets do not respect themselves and consequently, do not respect others.

He said, "You can see it in his facial expressions and body language; you can hear it in his words and in the tone of his voice. "

To tell you the truth, I never thought about it that way. I always assumed that when someone is rude or cross with me, that it has nothing to do with me. They are just having a bad day. But what if they are having a bad life? What if YOU are having a bad life?

Yes, what happens if you are the person that Robert Ringer is describing. I can imagine that many people, including myself, never thought about how others view us. Are we unconsciously telling people that we dislike ourselves or have little or no self respect? Are we treating others with contempt?

And it is very hard to change your personality. I know that. But if the underlying foundation is shaky, you MUST take steps to strengthen it or the whole house will fall down.

Don't look now but Don Imus is back...

Well, it looks like Don Imus is back in the news again. Not only he settled with his former employers for $20 Million dollars...

He is getting sued by one of the Rutger basketball player that he insulted that started this whole circus.

And don't get me wrong... I think Don Imus is a gas bag that said things he shouldn't have said. And yes, it was extremely obnoxious but not illegal. We do have free speech which is one of the most cherished rights we have in the greatest country in the world.

But still...

Did I mention that Don Imus is a giant bag of gas?

I am sure this is what happens when you "get away" from saying crap for years and your employers don't take measures to clean up your act. Why? They are scared because believe it or not -- a LOT of people really like to hear him blabber...

Must be for entertainment purposes because I don't listen to him...

So I am sure he is getting back on the radio again -- hopefully a wiser man.

And about the lawsuit -- don't know if it will ever make it to court but anything that will pester Imus is fine with me.

So the lesson here as always -- there are consequences for everything you do and say. Less said is usually better...

I was reading the magazine, Psychology today (August 2007). And one of the articles was -- 10 outrageous truths about men and women [brace yourself]. And a subarticle was titled: Suicide Bombing Has NOTHING To Do With Islam…

Granted, this is a very very provocative argument and I kept reading...

This article makes the point that most suicide bombers ARE Muslim. And that suicide bombing has nothing to do with Islam but it has everything to do with the absence of sex.

To tell you the truth, I was intrigued how they arrived at that conclusion and so will you...

The article says that the Islamic society tends to be polygyny. Which is a way of saying that men of higher status are allowed to have more than one wife. And since most societies are 50% men and 50% women – it means that a lot of men in Islamic societies have little or zero chances of getting a wife and starting a family.

So polygyny increases the competitive pressure on the men of low status because wealthier men tend to have more than one wife. The men of low status may resort to violence acts such as murders, assaults, and rapes to gain access to mates.

Then these men get the promise of 72 virgins waiting in heaven for those anyone who is a martyr. The definition of a martyr is anyone who dies in the defense of their beliefs. The key word here is beliefs. It can be defined by anyone in the position of authority, which really isn’t difficult, because the men who answer the call of suicide bombing are just about always single and always low status males who have a really bleak future of no women and NO SEX.

And the promise of a harem of 72 virgins is a very, very enticing way to get illiterate and poor young males to volunteer to give up their lives.

In short, if the premises and facts put out by Psychology Today is true, the current trend of blowing up yourself to further the agendas of authority figures in the Mosques and Muslim countries is one of the most diabolical and horrific scam perpetuated on society today…

Just wow. Makes a lot of sense to me.

I am tired of failing...

Well, meet Mr. Paul Potts the winner of the show, "Britain's Got Talent."

If you haven't heard of this man, you are really in a cave. Get over to youtube.com and check out his video. I promise you even if you don't like opera, he will blow you away and make the hairs stand on your neck.

I really am not joking...

And you see, Paul Potts was not a shoo-in. He is 36 years old. Just got married. Had bad luck and medical problems. And his teeth!

Things were not looking good for him and he decided to TRY ONE MORE TIME!

And we are all better for it because we would have never heard him sing. To hear his sing really, really makes you appreciate life and all it has for you to enjoy.

I just finished reading an awesome book by Robert J. Ringer, "Winning Through Intimidation."

Although Robert wrote this book in 1973 as a real estate agent... his theories in the book can be applied to anything you are or do in your life.

One of his memorable theories is the "Boy-Girl Theory."

It states that every person wants what he can't have and does not want what he can have.

And I think that is so true...

And we don't appreciate what we do have until it is gone...

But the article concludes that that honesty yields more genuine relationships and trust.

I agree. Learn to be funny and easy going.

It is way easier and less stressful that trying to maintain your self esteem because no matter what, it really doesn't matter in the long run...

NASA astronaut accused of attacking a rival for another astronaut's affection at Orlando International Airport was released on $25,500 bond after authorities upped the ante in her case, charging her with attempted first-degree murder.

Lisa Nowak has 3 kids, is 43 years old and should know better. Apparently being smart and confident doesn't make you invulnerable to stupid acts.

Lisa armed and disguised herself and drove 900 miles from Texas to Florida to confront her rival, Colleen Shipman. After spraying her with pepper spray, Lisa was caught.

And now she is in BIG trouble because her charges can lead to lifetime imprisonment.

The thing of this whole tawdry affair is that there really was no romantic string to connect Lisa with Navy Commander William Oefelein.

The only thing I can say to Lisa is what were you thinking? You trained to be an astronaut and you are definitely very smart.

This whole situation is messed up. Lisa Nowak doesn't belong in jail but she has to face up to her responsibilities. She made the stupid decision to hurt people and for what?

The love of a man that isn't romantically involved with her...

I just bet Lisa isn't the only person who done something like this. So the lesson here is DO NOT do stupid things in the name of love. It doesn't work and can get you sent to jail!!!

Apparently some biology teacher had his 7th grade class draw a picture of a penis.

On one hand -- it's a biology class and covering the subject of human anatomy should be expected.

On the other hand -- these kids are around 12-13 years old. I am not sure this is an appropriate subject for kids at that age.

Then again, when I went to school years ago, it seemed obvious that most kids were aware of the differences between a man and a woman. I mean really aware!

I don't know what is it like these days but still...

Can't you just cut up a frog and leave it like that?

Many guys love the great outdoors and like to spend it with someone they feel closest too. However, for me, getting a cabin is the best way to go.

Let's face it, having bugs, snakes and other assorted critters sharing your sleeping bag is NOT the most romantic moment of your life!!!

Unless you have been stuck in a cave somewhere the past few years...

Scott Peterson was convicted of killing his wife Lacy and their unborn son. He is now sitting in Death Row which is ironically across the bay from where the bodies were found.

Amber Frey was interviewed and she has relationship advice for the women. "Trust women intuition a little bit more and if they have questions, it's probably for a good reason."

And of course everyone involved in the case is going to try to make some money. The jurors who convicted Scott Peterson and sent to the death row has come out with a new book, 'We, the Jury Deciding the Scott Peterson Case'.

But the jurors are mixed on Amber Frey. For instance, one juror believed that Amber knew she was in a relationship with a married man (Scott Peterson) but choose to ignore it anyway. That juror thought it made her a questionable witness.

However, other jurors have said she was a credible witness. "She was the Star of the prosecution."

Anyhow, Amber Frey is getting on with her life. She married a police officer (Who is a good man) and is planning to tell her two young children the truth when they are old enough about her relationship with Scott Peterson.

I don't envy that task but I sure applaud Amber's ability to get on with her life and it seems she is very happy with her relationship with her family.
