Is gift giving a great idea while dating?

KSBI-TV - Fashion & Beauty - Holiday Gifts for Singles That Don't Scream 'Stalker'

Sometimes reading an article like this seems like walking into a minefield.

The age old question of should we or should we not give gifts to our partner while dating?

Well, they say that women don't like getting expensive gifts because it makes them feel like a prostitute. I can understand that. It puts an obligation on them to "put out."

On the other hand, why do some guys feel that they have to "buy" a gift for a woman they like? Is it because they have no creative ideas how to make dates and events exciting and adventuresome for the women?

Let's hear what you have to say about that...

Better Sex Life?

What to eat for a better sex life - Forbes.com - MSNBC.com: "Aphrodisiacs, for the most part, have been shown to be ineffective."

To sum it up, any food that is good for the heart is good for your sex life. However, I would caution to lay off the garlic... unless your lover eats some garlic too!

Foods with Omega or L-Arginine is good for you. Don't waste your money on aphrodisiacs because they are ineffective... Bummer!

Jealousy is NOT a good thing. Get Rid of it!

Sheriff: jealousy over Internet relationship ended in shooting - Newsday.com

Headlines like above occur more frequently than we like to believe. Maybe not as extreme... but if it is happening to you or someone you are close too -- be careful!

You see, psychologists will analyze this subject to death but it is not a pretty or even a cut emotion to have. In fact... it is downright ugly.

If jealously is taking over your life... get some help... NOW. For the rest of us, we all have jealous moments. We can choose to ignore it or confront it.

By confront it, I mean ask yourself this question, "Is it true?" Most of the time, your answer to that question is no. Your mind plays tricks all the time and creates a mountain out of a mole hill.

In short, jealousy is NOT cool. Get rid of it. If it is a bad problem that is affecting close relationships or the job... get some help before you do something really stupid and tragic and can never take back.

Relationship Terminator

The Relationship Terminator | the Daily Mail

Guy loses his insurance job after 24 years in Germany, picks up a company on eBay and already has 120 jobs. What is it?

I'm glad you asked! The name of the company is "The Relationship Terminator." And he is the only one on the staff. If you want to break up with your partner, you hire him to break the news and collect your stuff. He will give you three reasons why you are breaking up. He will even tell them NOT to contact you again for a little extra. However, he has a few criterias before he takes the job and won't take jobs for married people.

I don't know about this. It seems a little harsh. But sometimes, the other person in the relationship can't or won't pick up hints that the relationship is not working and move on.

What do you think?
