Study: Eyes Instinctively Focus on Good-Looking People

"If we're interested in finding a mate, our attention gets quickly and automatically stuck on attractive members of the opposite sex," explained study leader Jon Maner of Florida State University. "If we're jealous and worried about our partner cheating on us, attention gets quickly and automatically stuck on attractive people of our own sex because they are our competitors."

Quite frankly, I can't stand either, probably because they are in the news all the time but still.

The truth of the matter is I think most of these studies by "researchers" are just that, finding excuses and reasons to justify why we have lack of self respect.

What do I mean?

If you are jealous, if you are looking at other members of the opposite sex instead of your spouse, you are probably lacking in the self-respect department.

And guess what? If you lack self respect -- as sure as it rains, you lack respect for others.
